On Sept. 9, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to reauthorize the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app-supported Diesel Emission Reductions Act (DERA), which provides incentive to owners to make a smart investment in their purchase of cleaner and often more fuel-efficient vehicles and equipment. The House bill (H.R. 1768) reauthorizes the program through 2024 by a 295-114 vote. DERA reauthorization now moves to the U.S. Senate, where they will consider their own bill (S. 747) or the House version. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app will continue to obtain funding for the program.
